Al Jaffee turned 95 years old this month, and he's been drawing and writing for MAD Magazine for the last 60 years.

"I have had a wonderful time," Jaffee says, "doing the thing I love and am reasonably good at."

"Reasonably good" may be a bit of an understatement for a man whose illustrations and cartoons for MAD have inspired countless careers in comedy, including Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart.

Ford is proud to have enlisted the legendary artist's help to create a short animation on the dangers of distracted driving. While the most common causes of distraction on the road are cell phone use, eating, and being drowsy, Ford encouraged the comedian to be creative and think up a more unusual set of distracting circumstances.

The result is Jaffee's career-first animated project, "Driving Distracted, It's for the Birds."

Many avoidable accidents are caused each year by distracted drivers. That's why Ford builds vehicles with intelligent technology like automatic emergency braking, to mitigate and even prevent low-speed collisions, and SYNC 3 with Siri Eyes Free to help keep your eyes on the road.
